![]() ![]() Marsh is entangled in illegal financial dealings and is being threatened by a crime boss known as “the man in Detroit.” In exchange for forgiveness of some kind of debt, he plans to offers the man Mike’s services. Marsh’s daughter, and swiftly falls in love. As Mike tackles his grueling work, he meets Amelia, Mr. Marsh, the owner of the burglarized house. Mike’s sentence, referred to as “restorative justice,” is to spend the summer working for Mr. Mike picks the lock on the house, but police arrive, and he is apprehended. At the end of the school year, a popular jock at Mike’s high school asks Mike to help him and his friends breaking into a football rival’s house. At home with Uncle Lito, Mike develops a growing enthusiasm for picking locks. Mike’s father carried the safe to a nearby river and attempted a murder-suicide by drowning, but Mike was rescued.Īfter Mike’s childhood trauma, he is sent to live with his Uncle Lito. To protect himself, Mike crawled inside the family’s gun safe and locked himself inside.
